Day 3: Update: Alan is doing well but sore from the angiogram. He still is wearing the monitor but has now been moved out of I.C.U. to a room on the floor. Tomorrow the doctor will be giving him all his records so that he can bring them back with him on his return trip, hopefully around the end of April. He has been told to take some time off but I am not certain how much free time he will be able to handle. He has, however agreed to not work more than 3 days a week and then threw in not more than 40 hours....... He also is talking about doing some of his work at home where it is a less stressful atmosphere from his office. I just hope he is taking this as seriously as he needs to. A heart attack, even a minor one is a bodys way to signaling changes need to be made, life style (smoking and exercise), medications - for the rest of your life, diet and stress all related and all extremely important... I remember how difficult it all was to accept and it has been 13 years on March 28th - for me... (What is it about this month ...lol) Anyway, so far it has been all positive news and he has been delighted to hear from everyone and is looking forward to seeing us all - and Sadie - soon...
