Day 39 the 16th of September After arriving in Munich that afternoon we had some time to kill before our bike ride of the city so we spent the time looking around the city centre and shopping. After shopping we all made our way to the meeting point for our guided bike tour around the city of Munich, dodging cars and people as we rode down the streets and through some of the parks, we even saw some inland surfing which was really cool. After the tour it was time to get something to eat and drink and there was nowhere better than Munich’s famous Brewery Hofbrauhaus. Day 40 the 17th of September After our overnight stay in Munich we hit the road again, this time making our way to Liechtenstein another country all to its self to stop for lunch and a quick look around, I even got my Passport stamped to say I was there lol. We crossed the border into another new country Switzerland, which is an absolutely beautiful place. Our first place to stop and site see was the lovely city of Luzern which is home to the Famous Lion monument, the Chapel Bridge and many other sights rich in history. Once we had a look around and saw the sights it was back on the coach and of to our Contik Site in Lauterbruunen in the Swiss Alps and because I had never seen snow before this was going to be one of the highlights of the tour for me.
