Day 4 of appreciation has me cozy in bed with my snuggly wife. Today I am glad my back has kept me from work and that the movie industry has created so many extravaganzas to help pass the time. I appreciate the utilities we take for granted daily that I am provided with now back down in suburban civilisation for a bit. However up at home in the bush I am glad for solar power and water tanks, pumps and generators to achieve the same comfort zone. I am appreciative of being born in the luckiest most wonderful country on earth and that we made the time before kids went to school to explore this amazing continent. I am in eternal debt to the aboriginal owners of this land who suffered horribly for me to appreciate my existence and perversely to those pioneers who discovered these new worlds for us white men to exploit. Right now I am appreciating this Willy wagtail doing a little cheeky dance on the balcony without a care in the world. I love the intuition I have been endowed with in this life to be able to see and feel every angle of a moment with empathy and thank the gods for all the challenges I have endured and grown through.
