Day 4 of our Haiti mission involved making and delivering enough rice and bean bags to feed 241+ families. FUMC Fuquay-Varina and others raised $7,000.00 to allow this to happen. Our Quilting for the Community ladies at FUMC Rockingham contributed 52 rice and bean bags for this cause. It was an emotional day for us. We left the comfort of the Ryan Epps Home where the children receive a lot of support and delivered rice and bean bags to two other orphanages where the conditions were so sad and the children craved our love and attention. There are no words to describe what we have experienced. I would encourage anyone who is able to pray about going on a mission trip to a country of such great need. It will change your perspective on life...it has mine. I hope you can see all 30 pictures. I will try to explain each one. Follow our blog.
