Day 4 of the 5 Day Music Challenge (damn you, Kaplan!) and its time for the Zeppelin. This clip is from Hamburg, Germany, March 21,1973, which is one of my Top 5 Zep boots. Both Page and especially Bonham took the uppers before the show (Im speculating) and its a brutal performance, complete with Bonham yelling shit throughout. This show is 10 times better than any show the band has released (except maybe Royal Albert Hall 1970 on the DVD). Note, the sound sucks for the first two minutes but then goes soundboard for the rest. Its Zeppelin at its bone-crushing best. Enjoy.
