Day 40: Im posting the pictures of Audreys basement CT machine! - TopicsExpress

Day 40: Im posting the pictures of Audreys basement CT machine! These are from the other day, she did NOT wear the pumpkin dress again! ;) Weve been practicing with our little set up. She does a great job of laying still while we count. Weve talked about how it is loud, and Ive made some machine-esque noises. Lets hope that it will make things go more smoothly tomorrow afternoon. Audrey had a great day, she was happy, energetic, and in a fantastic mood. She slept well last night, and took a great nap today. Im hoping that these are all signs that her counts are rebounding at an exponential rate. Today, I took Audreys little brother to the doctor. Hes been coughing at night, and pulling on his ear, and all of us were really worried about him getting Audrey sick. Weve been keeping them away from each other, and washing hands like crazy, but its hard to keep siblings away from each other. Our Ped said its a very mild illness, probably just a cold, and his ears look great. I also went ahead and got him a flu shot, while we were there. Im relieved, but Im still keeping them as far away from each other as possible. My mother-in-law has been here for a month as of today. We are forever grateful for her help, and would NEVER have been able to get through all of this without her constantly attending to one of the kids. Shes been with Corbin every time that Ive had to be in the clinic all day with Audrey, and today, she was with Audrey while I took Corbin to the Dr. Im so thankful that I didnt have to drag her into yet another germ infested waiting room! Thanks Carol! Tomorrow, thats what is on our minds. The tension and stress is thick in our house. We tried decorating some for Christmas, and cooking a nice meal tonight, but it didnt really help. Eric and I deal with stress differently. I want to talk, and he wants to be pensive. Thank God we will have the results and be meeting with our team immediately afterwards. Just have to wait a little longer. I hope we can all sleep tonight, and I pray that our results are favorable. Eric and I both are hoping for surgery. We just need them to say that they feel confident that her airway is stable. Ill let you guys know the results when we get home tomorrow evening. Thank you for your prayers and support!
