Day 5 Hanukkah: (this is one of my favorite scriptures...) The setting: Aged Simeon was promised by the Lord that he would not die until He saw Israels Messiah. He was inspired to come to the Temple and when he saw the infant Yeshua , he said (Luke 2:30-32) Let now Thy servant depart in peace, for mine eyes have seen Thy Salvation, which Thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples, a LIGHT of revelation for the Gentiles, and the Glory of Thy people Israel. He held the Promise , and wept.
