Day 5: I am thankful for learning to bloom where Im planted. Especially here at 292. Though my neighborhood is sketchy at best, and dangerous at worst, its a rural inner city paradise. My near neighbors are solid folk, and others of the same dot the surroundings to help hold the fort, you know who you are, I am thankful for you. I have astounding views of sunrise and sunset and thank my Lord for them daily. Through blood, sweat and tears I am surrounded by gardens of things I love and commune with God often there. Im graced with visits from songbirds, squirrels, turkeys, fox, coyote, deer and many neighborhood cats and dogs, all of whom I adore and give thanks for regularly. And in tribute to election day, Im thankful that I still have some small say in how my world is run, if I so choose to exercise that right. Theres no way I can name one thing per day to be thankful for!
