Day 5 of apartment living: My kitchen is the size of a standard bathroom and as such is not fit for having an oven. Tried to make muffins. It turned into a torturous fiasco where I yelled at the fire alarm almost the entire ten minutes it took to make two pans of muffins. Why only ten minutes you ask? Because apparently the oven felt overzealous and decided that 450 degrees actually means 1,000 degrees.
