Day 5 of things I am thankful for: (yes this is todays second installment because yesterday I was too tired). 1. I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to work with some spectacular people in my past life including Theresa, Natalie, Kathy, Christina. Teresa, Jeanne. Jan Parry Rowenhorst (who I can always count on to lift me up in prayer), Susan, , Brandy and more that I cant name here (too many). Your input and feedback has helped me be the person I am today. 2. I am thankful for my time working in Chicago at First Bank of Oak Park. Why you ask? I learned so much and met some amazing people like Natalie, Kathy, Richie, Eric, Tricia and Yvonne. And although I worked in a bank I managed to never went through the teller line - with the exception of the year I played secret Santa to the bank as a whole (I think that was the year Leonard had me play elf at the Christmas party for the shelter)........ Yes, it was me and Leonard (bless his heart), didnt let anyone see the security tapes and Kari (bless her too) helped me hide the bags of goodies and never let on that she knew. 3. I am thankful that I was able to take a trip to Washington DC this summer to see things every American should see (although the White House Tour was a disappointment). To top it off - I got to go with some awesome women: Michele, Karen, and Su. It was hot, humid, quick, filled with food and fun and I look forward to the next trip.
