Day #63 - ALL THE THINGS THAT WENT RIGHT TODAY - Went to the kids school open house. My wonderful, wacky, wild-child has a gentle, laid back MALE teacher. How cool is that? My sweet, shy childs teacher is the fantastic lady who sold her house to us. I never imagined when we met 11 years ago in an intimate for-sale-by-owner situation when she told me she was an elementary school teacher that one of my kids would be in her class someday. And... just this week wed run into her TWICE by happenstance around town. So my timid boy knew her already when he walked into the classroom. How cool is that? When I registered the boys on Monday, we made the School of Choice deadline within 10 minutes (I didnt know there was a deadline!). Were not in the bus system, but the school is a 10 minute easy backroads drive from our house. The boys are REALLY excited about the school and I feel proud about their academic readiness and great attitudes. #dailygraces
