Then a quick view of the Victoria River and Timber Creek and surrounds and then the Hot Springs at Katherine and Edith Falls 42 kms north of Katherine - falls into deep swimming hole surrounded by cliffs - very oasis like. Tomorrow we have booked a cruise around Katherine Gorge and I will do a few walks as well. Then on to Kakadu where we have booked a cruise on some billabongs and have sussed out all the highlights to see via the vehicle. Then a couple of nights in Darwin and Lichfield NP and down through Tennant Creek to the Alice and then home via Broken Hill. Looking like we will be back home (sigh) by Sunday week. John and Andrew
