Yesterday Jerry had a heart cath done. Ended up 10 hours at the hospital. They took him into the OR about 9:30am & I went to get breakfast & coffee. As I was paying, the PA system announced Code Blue in the Cath Lab. This old woman can move with the right motivation. A man waiting to have a heart cath had a massive heart attack in prep. Jerry was on the table, prepped & already under anesthesia - they brought him back to prep/waiting area. PRAISE GOD, the nurses said if that man had been anywhere else he would not have made it!! One of the nurses told him that God wasnt finished with him & had a plan for him. The man said his wife read the Bible & the nurse told him that it was time for him to start reading it!! WOW!! That was worth the 4 hour delay. Got home about 6pm. Thanks Russell Roberts, for staying with Dad. And thank to those praying. There has been some change in his heart but dont have a diagnosis. Talking about possibly sending him to Houston, Mayo or Cleveland Clinic a little farther down the road. Now the big issue is keeping him low key for 3 day to heal! :-)
