Day 7, Sunday: The Cantors had their plenary on Sunday morning, making some decisions for our organization and planning for the next year. Then in the afternoon, we had a wonderful workshop with Nava Tehilah (beautiful praise). First we worked with some musicians who used the OOD (a lute like instrument) and a piano type instrument, that I did not get the name of, but was used with picks attached to their fingers. This congregation is made up of people who are rediscovering their roots from Algeria, S. Africa and other Sephardic communities.
