Day 7 – Praise God the Spirit Scripture "These things I have spoken to you, while abiding with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” (John 14:26) “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) “When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:1-4) Prayer In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. O Blessed Trinity, by your grace you welcome me into the blessed presence of your unity. Because you are full of love and mercy, you send your Spirit with power, who teaches me in the understanding of your Word and enables me to be your witness in this world. There is no other God but you, and moved by your Spirit, I offer you alone my worship and praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
