Day 8: I am thankful for the little things in life that make me happy. I am thankful for Lilac Blossom candles from Bath and Body Works that soothe my soul as I hang out at home. I am thankful for peanut butter. I am thankful for Crossgates Gym to give me a place to work off that peanut butter. :) I am thankful for when God uses His Word or a person to speak an uplifting word to me (whether from their heart or from The Bible). I am thankful for the fact that I can ride my bike because it makes my soul free. I am thankful for color because it delights my world. I am thankful for taste buds. I am thankful for a clean house. God knows its a miracle because I start off hating to start cleaning it every time. :) (Dont we all? :) I am thankful for Francine Rivers for writing Redeeming Love because it will be forever etched into parts of my heart in the way that it changed me. Im thankful for those green and red sour tape candy they sell at Wal-Mart. I think they are called Rips. Im thankful for butternut squash. Mmmm.... also Im thankful that they built a gas station right in the front of my neighborhood because when my big boys(and girl) drink all the milk in the house and we realize it at 9:17pm we need more milk for breakfast before school the next day, I can just hop in the car for a couple minutes and NOT HAVE TO GO TO WALMART instead! :) I am thankful for my plants.
