Day 8 ... have covered nearly 2,500 kms to date each with no co-drivers and met many people, seen thousands of dead kangaroos, passed a number of very long road trains and very slow GNs. Seen an enormous array of landscapes, been to the bowser more times than i can remember, seen the most spectacular sunsets.and the list goes on... the sheer number of GNs on the road is phenomenal.. within a couple of days ive seen cars from Tas, ACT, heaps from Vic, WA, NSW, Qld and NT and prob SA too but didnt notice.. these Aussies are out and about seeing and experiencing The Great Outback.. its great to see.. word is there is over 1 mill living on the road (that needs to be confirmed) and the rest are holidaying. the most disturbing experience was getting CD 8 from my Audio book in my CD player and not knowing what happened. Gggrrrrrr... currently staying in Camooweal and have only around 250 kms to go ... woohoo
