Day 9 - Most of our team had great visits at Haiti orphanages. These visits were at once a blessing and challenging as team members saw joy from children who were living in difficult circumstances. Dr. Knight was able to observe some of the children so that we know what we can do to help on future visits. Some of our team led workshops for Port-au-Prince pastors and church members. They are eager to learn and to minister better in their communities. Many are working other jobs while running multiple ministries. They are amazing but want more training and are so happy for the little that we can bring. We are praying that next year we can bring more people to help develop leaders in these churches. We also said goodbye to four team members who had to return a few days early. Kevin Simmons, Todd Drinkard, Steven Drinkard, and Dr. Knight, thanks for serving with us. We hope to see you in Haiti again.
