Day 9 of Great Music Month, and we have another folk tune, but this time from Grainger. Horkstow Grange is the beautiful second movement from Lincolnshire Posy. But, the problem is that it is not suppose to be beautiful, but haunting instead. In Lincolnshire Posy, Grainger set folk songs from that area of England in a band setting. The catch is that he set them in the way they were sung to him, hence the rhythms written. The problem is that the song is about........a........MURDER!!!
