Day ?? I cannot remember! I am fatigued. After sailing into Toledo and dropping Donna off for her flight home we spent a dry night with my brother Jacob Jake Tyler in Toledo and the sailed up the Detroit River and the St. Clair River with great weather conditions. We stopped for diesel, a shower and lunch in port Huron before shoving off into Lake Huron. Winds were light and the lake was flat. As night came on the winds picked up for good sailing. Until the early am and a small gale set in. We took all sails down and did nothing more than keep the bow pointed into steep confused waves for 6 or more AM. At night in strong gusty winds you cannot see waves coming and are forced to just react to the force of the bow being displaced and quickly trying to point back into the next wave with mothering more than a dimly lit compass which displays heading backwards to what the mind thinks..long uncomfortable night!!
