Day Three - A fusion of frustration and creation We finished up - TopicsExpress

Day Three - A fusion of frustration and creation We finished up day 2 with a massive feedback session back at Les Mills International. We watched the video and through track by track. Everybody got feedback from Mid our coach and also from Lisa. the feedback was great and it gave me a lot to think about and digest. It was a late finish I got to bed at 11pm (thats super late for a nana like me! ) It was a sleepless night with a BUSY mind. I got 4 hours sleep before I was up at 5am for my RPM Class. I kept this class because its a good release for my busy brain and I love my class. I could just release the brain and gear up for day three. After the class my day started with FRUSTRATION - I wanted to create some different angles to teach my tracks from and not just do what I always do or did last time. Filming in my mind is a huge responsibility to every BODYATTACK instructor dedicated to teaching this programme. With this responsibility in mind I want to create a track that is SIMPLE and coaches the workout BUT also has a a few FRESH ways of coaching that an instructor can watch and then WANTS to immediately to that coaching into their own classes and use! I went to work on this and just searched for different words and spent time on my tracks so I could try it in the class tonight. I had a session with Mid our coach and just downloaded some feelings I was having and we set a plan together and some direction to head for my tracks! Its great to bounce ideas off each other. During the day I went to my chiropractor - Cass shes the best! Just to keep my body in check and reduce the stress to optimise the performance. At 2pm the team meet and finalised small details to tidy up the team and worked on certain moves that looked messy from last nights class. Then it was our own time to get ready for tonights class. We all had our own technique things we needed to focus on and we ALL had our feedback to implement form last night. It was important class. My frustration and searching for new words different angles to teach from and light up my tracks in tonights class I taught and the fruits of my creations landed and a good impact! That makes me excited and pumped to investigate further. From here I will refine it to make it land with even more clarity. I now have a new platform to build from and cant wait for tomorrow mornings class. Bryce our technical consultant came to the class to check off ALL safety. This happens every round to ensure that we keep our members safe and have the MOST IMPORTANT safety cues being coached in our tracks across the whole release! Next up I will watch the class on my tablet - watch - listen -refine! Set a game plan before I teach and then its game on with the team! I cant wait to sleep tonight its been a long day!
