Day three of Divisionals wrapped up the Monday 8-ball and Thursday - TopicsExpress

Day three of Divisionals wrapped up the Monday 8-ball and Thursday 9-ball divisions. Here are the pictures of the winning teams who are now all qualified for our Tournament of Champions. Congratulations to all of the winners! The Monday 8-ball final pitted the #6 seed Organized Chaos against the top seeded Scratchulence. After an epic chess match that lasted more than 7 hours, Organized Chaos came away with the win hill-hill on the very last rack. In a NAPA Western Mass Divisional first, the final score as 46-46, with Organized Chaos having the tiebreaker as a result of winning 3 of the 5 matches. Nice job guys! The Thursday 9-ball division saw the top 4 seeds battle it out on Sunday. Fourth seeded Slocome narrowly edged out the top seed It Doesnt Matter in the first semi-final match and the #3 seed #teamquanae (pronounced: hashtag team quaw-nay for those of you that have been getting it wrong) blew out the #2 seed Ivory Billiards to reach the finals against Slocome. The finals were close but Slocome emerged the winner, banking $600 and qualifying for the Tournament of Champions. Way to go! Thank you to everyone who came out and competed at Divisionals for playing NAPA and continuing to support the movement. Next session starts up Sunday January 18th and each day thereafter. We will post what divisions we have to offer and be accepting roster submissions shortly. Congratulations again to all of the winners! Thank you for three days of great competition and outstanding sportsmanship. Thank you to Maximum Capacity for being awesome hosts and bartenders Heidi, Quanae, and Rachel for taking care of us all weekend long!
