Days pass, and the reflections of moments, seemingly insignificant - TopicsExpress

Days pass, and the reflections of moments, seemingly insignificant in earlier times continue to flood through my mind. Something as simple as a voice on the phone: Hi Dad! filled with an honest exuberance that transmitted her love. Small moments such as that remain with me. While the awful pain of this worst loss of our lives will very gradually ebb, the best of who Marilyn was will remain within our hearts and be forever a part of our souls. Was there ever anyone who could let loose such a spontaneous, crackling laugh as hers? Was there anyone who ever cared more about her mission of showing absolutely honest compassion for the difficulties of others, and then actually did something tangible to help those same people? Her honesty and sense of fair play never wavered. Thats Not Fair! was her favorite expression of outrage with the injustices that occurred on occasion in her life. But, person that she was, she would almost always find a way to make any negative situation into one that had a positive outcome. The ultimate heartbreak is that we will no longer be blessed with the actual physical presence of that beautiful, wild, extremely quick and funny, loving person; the one that we always looked forward to seeing, hugging. Knowing that we can never, ever have that very special experience again is unimaginably painful. We will love you forever, darling girl... SS
