Days..... a.allpoetry/poem/11113843-Days-by-chasingtheday Sorrow: tears flowing in silent winds which throw anguish into space where the stars they burn so bright. Joy: laughter scraping past gasping breath which threatens to choke life away. Boredom: awake to the harsh fact that time repeats itself once too often while idle hands sweep through dust. Pain: memories shattering time, wiping the slate of grey with a cold foreign fog of dark and frightening realities. Dreams: lost in imaginations empire where all the demons bow their heads to the power within the eyes. Breathing: going through the motions of joy when all you desire is a fleshless hand to withdraw the knife. Screaming: a hoarse voice echoing through the hair of time who laughs and mocks the helpless plea. The days go by and you change as the years form armies to wreck the dream.
