Deadlifts are awesome. Big compound movement that strengthens legs, core and back! Executed correctly they make an impressive visual difference in musculature and increase practical power. Keep the lower back safe with good technique. Conventional stance is shoulder distance, drive through the feet, hinge at your hips, come up with your spine in line..use your lats;) Commonly seen problem is rounding the back..keep it straight!! Easiest way? Chest up, shoulders down, head in line (think ear lobes over shoulders.) This video clip exaggerates the shoulder placement..keep them down to maintain straight back and recruit your core. Most helpful tip Ive been given... flat soled shoes!!
