Dealing With Ones Issues Though she did what she could, having the idea that it would somehow bring a smile upon his face, the lad was just the same. He glanced up at the skys ceiling and dripped tears from his eyes endlessly. She carried talking to him and he didnt reply, for some time she got irritated by his tranquility and kept quiet. They patiently watched the sun set, as Thabo hummed a lullaby that his mother used to hum when he was a little lad, whenever he had those scary nights when there were a lot of thunderstorms, he would cringe and snicker to the tip of the bed, and his mother would come and sing that song. Thula thu, thula baba thula sana Thul’ u bab’ uzobuya ekuseni. Thula thu, thula mtwana thula sana Thul’u bab’ uzobuya enthabeni. Sobe si khona a baye beshoyo Bethi buyela u buye le khaya Sobe si khona a baye beshoyo, Bethi buya mtwana ubuye le khaya As he gently rose up and sat as if he was meditating, he carried on singing that song, slowly as his shirt was drenched in tears, as if it was raining, his face had tear markings all over, so many that they paved routes and maps of the pain that was embroiling inside of him. He was fighting a war, caught between a haze of, He is better in heave and This wouldnt have happened if I didnt allow Lebohang to leave with him, he periodically swung to his back. Rolling to the nibe of his head like a man. Nomfundo then picked him up and then they walked back to the hospital. They walked slow, and one would swear that the song was on replay, he carried on singing it endlessly. The sad part was that Lebohang was suffering just as much as he was, she was in her ward as the doctors were busy stitching her. She hummed a gospel tune, Oh, how I love Jesus, Oh how I love Jeeeeeus, Oooooh, how I.... Love Jesus, Because He first loved me She somehow numb to the pain, she didnt glitch nor move and it shocked the doctors. She sang the song so much that words barely came out. It was mostly sighs that came from the heart, and it was without any doubt that she blamed herself about everything that befell her son. He was all that she had, and it was taken away. She was under a lot of stress, and to increase her strain even more, Njabulo was not doing well at all. The old wounds that were healing from his dog encounter back at Mam Marthas house were reopened, and to top things off, he broke both his legs and arms accident. The doctors operated on him, and saw the sloppy work from the previous doctors and the errors that they made endlessly. The chances of Njabulo recovering were slim to none, and no one thought that he would come out of it alive, even the doctors had no faith in the lad seeing the light of day ever again. Mam Martha and the rest of the folk waited for some hours out there, only to receive the good and the bad news, that Lebo made it, and Njabulo was still in hiding, and truth be told that there was a high chance that he wouldnt make it. The doctor was a sharp shooter that had a strong lip, he told them like it needed to be told, just as a bandage that is removed from a wound by force, he simply told them what they thought they didnt want to hear, especially Tshepang. When she heard this, she stormed out of the hospital immediately, in the attempt to go out and clear her head. Walking down the same path, Nomfundo got fed up with Thabo and so she left him out there to clear his head, she got tired of talking alone and so she went back to the waiting stands. Leaving Thabo all alone out there, she didnt want to do what she did but then, there wasnt a single bone in her that still wanted to stomach the mans tears. Whilst running, Tshepang bumped into Thabo. They were both in tears and it was the first time that they actually spoke since they broke up. There was still a lot of chemistry between them, they always had the silent communication strategy, to simply hug one another and remain quiet. So they did that, and spoke without speaking. They both wetted each others garments in their freedom of expression moment. Thabo had some deep dark mascara drenched on his shirt, and she was painted with some tears on hers. Tshepang then told him that she needs someone to talk to, as some reverse psychological strategy to make him talk to her. He fell for it, without really noticing it, I didnt spend enough time with him, I should have been there, I shouldve been the one that taught him how to ride his bike, I was never there when he needed me the most, I was so wrapped up in my own drama that I neglected him. I dont know whats wrong with me, the good things that are for me, I seem to let them fade away, I lost my mother, I lost my son, hell.. I lost you Thabo said.. Tshepang was stunned by his last words, Hell, I lost you, she thought that, what they had was a fling, and it was something that they both needed in that time. They carried on with their walk, and expressed things to one another, to such a point that they ended up talking about the way that they felt about one another. Look, I know for a fact that I have never and I mean ever, felt that way about a person before. The way that you handled me, held me, spoke to me, said my name, you made me feel like the only girl in the world They gazed deep within each others eyes, and carried on speaking. Neglecting the world around them, they couldnt see Nomfundo dawning from a distance. When she got back to the waiting stands, she was told that Tshepang was not in a good state and she stormed out. She then had the hunch that if both of them were in a bad state, something might happen there, and so she went out to look for him. She looked hard, and they were nowhere to be found. She went outside of the gate and walked up that road and saw two people from a distance kissing. She then went up there, with the sole intention of ending things with Thabo if had an affair again
