Dealing with Perfectionists One of the Seven Laws of Solomen in the Bible is First do everything in Excellence. Maybe being Excellent and Perfect is what tycoons and successful business is made of...but I am NOT a perfectionist! I have YET to strive for this...I do things well, but never perfect. But maybe it IS perfect....in some way....one novelist had ONE error in his book...and it is the most sought after book to collect.....I feel mistakes sometimes ADD to art, and to our lives to learn how to just appreciate people for who they are...the good, the bad, and the ugly. Mistakes can be endearing, or catastropic if you are building a bridge....but mistakes can be corrected and learned from. One of my most prized art posessions is my sons first grade painting of a feast at the table. Purple swirls are eggplants, and the platter of the main meal extends off the line of the table......endearing and about right if youve ever had dinner at MY house. The only thing I strive for in Excellence is to LOVE my child and to show that ... with ALL the flaws.....
