Dear 2013 EISC Session I Participant, Hope you’ve been enjoying your stay with us at Ewha and had a good weekend! I’m writing this email to inform you about this Friday’s field trip to the DMZ. The DMZ refers to the Korean Demilitarized Zone which is a strip of land running across the Korean Peninsula that serves as a buffer zone between North and South Korea. Here are the details for this Friday’s field trip to the DMZ. Field Trip 5: DMZ (Korean Demilitarized Zone) 1. When and where to meet: July 19 (Friday) 08:50, in front of the Student Union Building Please be seated in the bus by 08:50. The bus will leave at 09:00. 2. Bus Arrangement: There will be 4 buses in front of the Student Union Building and students will take the bus according to their student ID #, so be ready to meet new friends~ #1: Miss Eunkyung Ryu and for students with IDs from ISS13001~ISS13052 + AUW #2: Miss Soo Hyun Kang and for students with IDs from ISS13056~ISS13126 #3: Miss Do Hee Park and for students with IDs from ISS13127~ISS13197 #4: Mr. Brendan Elworthy and for students with IDs from ISS13198~ISS133016 3. Tour Schedule & Duration: 09:00 – 15:30 (We will arrive at Ewha around 16:30) ImJinGak Park ->The Bridge of Freedom -> the Dora Observatory -> DMZ Pavilion -> The 3rd Underground(Incursion) Tunnel -> the Dora Mountain Station -> Lunch -> Return to School (15:00) As for the lunch, I am pleased to let you know that this field trip includes free lunch supported by Summer College Office!!
