Dear ASUU, NICE TRY... But I dont believe youre fighting for the interests of students and the good of the Educational Sector. Why? Because youre foolishly trying to make us believe you have the competence, sincerity, motivation and selflessness to solve the problems that has bedevilled our academic sphere for decades - IN ONE FELL SWOOP! My grandfather told me you cannot cure, OVERNIGHT, a wound that has festered for many years. And he was the wisest human I know. Im not taking the side of the government, as a matter of fact, Im disappointed at its competence. The FG might have let things deteriorate, or be guilty of unseriousness, insecerity (or whatever you are accusing them of) during negotiations. But what my fellow students and I know to be true is: A) The FG has now offered something tangible. B) This government has offered you, comparatively, the largest fund in recent memory. Thats enough seriousness. SO, CAN YOU STOP WASTING BOTH OUR TIMES, FOLD THIS CHARADE AND LET US STUDENTS GRADUATE??? Thank you. #Alison.
