Dear All Alhamdullilah the whole event went beyond our expectations. We were able to touch hundreds of students, faculty and mentors during this program. Lot of innovation and experimentation was carried out this time and we were able to experience new dimensions of entrepreneurship. To start with, the workshops in various cities created a stir and a lot of teams participated from all over Pakistan. It was good to see that the administration and faculty of various universities facilitated the IBA team and their own students in preparation and travelling to KHI. Alhamdulillah the final event went excellent as we had representation of the most part of the country. The two day workshop helped a lot in making the participants understand the Entrepreneurial Method and they worked hard with the help of mentors to polish their presentations. The CEO of Karachi Foods and Indus Hospital added their part in giving a strong entrepreneurial message to the participants. The Final Event turned out to be very unique and innovative as more than 10 entrepreneurs of different background (Technology, Agriculture, Services, Manufacturing, Teen Entrepreneurs) shared their interesting stories and motivated the audience to pursue an entrepreneurial journey. The attendance was pretty good throughout the day and participants interest remained very high in the presentations. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who worked tirelessly to make INVENT 2013 a success. CED-INVENT Team: Adeel for doing a great job in the overall designing and management of the program. Mubashir in carrying out many back office tasks. EDP Team: Farid and Rao along with the EDP students did a marvelous job in management of the whole program. The EDP volunteers showed the highest level of commitment in their assigned tasks. Entrepreneurship Society Team: Mahmood and Muzamil along with the team of volunteers did an amazing job through out the event CAN Team: Dr. Zahir and Asghar did their best throughout the event. Both of them travelled with our team throughout the country to conduct workshops and managed back office operations of the event. IBA Faculty: Imran Khan, Jami (Hostel support as well), Yaseen Meenai, Dr. Shakil, Asif Jaffer, Dr. Azam Ali, Ejaz Mian, Omer Javaid Ghani (Who mobilized NED and brought many judges), Dr.Ather Elahi, Dr. Shahid Qureshi (Math Department) Registrar Office Team: Shabana and Ather, Boys and Girls Hostel team, Security Team Finance Team: Syed Mazhar Kazmi along with Muzammil Media Team: Dr. Erum, Imtiaz I would like to thank Dr. Ishrat for the strategic guidance and support and raising a huge amount of Rs 5 million from SECP which helped us in conducting the whole event.
