Dear All, It is with much regret that I am not able to attend - TopicsExpress

Dear All, It is with much regret that I am not able to attend next weekend. I certainly was planning to do so but our daughter and her love of showjumping has stepped in the way. (and I LOVE being there for her) Not much has changed since the last 10 years in my life apart from my mother passing away on the 4th of July this year. Still happily married to Ted and living in Charters Towers. Eldest son Tom (21) studying Physio at JCU in Tville, 2nd son John (18) taking a gap year but has applied for OT at UQ for next year and Meg is 13, in grade 8 and has a very strong passion for horses and showjumping. Came 6th in Qld this year for Jumping Equitation at the State Champs at Yeppoon. Ironically this same event is begin held in CT at Easter 2015 and we are extremely busy preparing for it. I work at our local paper, The Northern Miner and really enjoy the challenge. I loved going to Dalby State High and my best friends from my school years are still my best friends to this day. We actually just had Suzi and Rocky up here when they were on holidays and it was so good to see them. Last year I got to meet up again with Paul Lloyd, whom I hadnt seen for many years and it was wonderful to chat about what we had being doing for the last 25 years, our family lives and where we are now. I am still in contact with many school friends, all be it, not regularly enough but it is so good to know that we can still chat like long lost mates when we do catch up. I sincerely hope that the re-union is everything it should be and I look forward to seeing many photos on this page. I will be thinking of everyone and, of course, I back Lloydys team to win the touch footy comp!! Love and best wishes to all Norah Vinson (Randle)
