Dear Animal Lovers, As most of you, if not all of you, have heard, there has been a new terrorist act today in our beautiful country Lebanon. We should like to start by voicing our deepest consolations to the families of the martyrs, those who lost their lives and those who are still fighting for their lives in the hospitals following todays unfortunate news. We are aware that such disconcerting news might cause some of you to ask questions whether we will postpone our Pet the Beach event tomorrow. After a long day of negotiations, we have come to the conclusion that we are still on, and we will not delay or postpone our event. We will hold our event tomorrow and pay tribute to the martyrs who fell today. We will celebrate because thats what they would have wanted us to do, especially those sacrificing their lives so we are able to move freely in this beautiful country. Postponing would mean giving terrorists what they want: our fear... But no, we wont give them what they want. We will give our country love, laughs, music, dancing, and a great cause which is helping these animals who need us today more than ever. We kindly ask everyone to show up tomorrow, because we would love each member of you to be with us! These animals deserve our care, whatever condition the country is in. Were a courageous community after all. See you all tomorrow, at Pet the Beach!
