Dear Beloved Friends, Christ spent His remaining hour on earth reminding us of our appointment as His witnesses. That is not a ten year evangelistic spectacle, but runs from the day of Pentecost until Jesus comes again. This is the period, and “NOW is the day of salvation.” We occupy the same ‘now’ as the first disciples and apostles. The Gospel will at last lighten throughout Ethiopia. Our forefathers who were missionaries such as Onesmos Nesib and Gudina Tumsa believed for it, and a generation of our fearless forefathers began with that impossible task “going into all region of Ethiopia.” Some of them took with them their own coffins, knowing their life of witness would be brief. Today countrywide evangelism is within reach. We have faith for winning our nation for Jesus. Onward! That is God’s agenda. And also ours!
