Dear Blessed One, We bless God for his grace and mercy for another week. Our confession of his Word will bring out our outward possession of his blessings. You must speak solutions not the challenges, the Word of God speak solutions and if you want to be Word based christian, you must learn to speak like God in all challenges of life. Giving thanks in the midst of problems makes God the boss that you trust and not upon your ability, but his authority to turn it around for his Glory. Confess his Word and let the Word turn around your story for your testimonies in Jesus Name. “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 Precious Child of God, when Jesus said to Peter, the devil has desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you, Peter thought it was a joke. He had expressed his love for Jesus in so many ways that he evaluated himself and concluded that he was above board. Beloved, Are you like Peter, you have weighed yourself and concluded that you are above board. You have looked at all the activities around and you are so sure that the devil cannot get through to you. If you are in that position, I congratulate you. But if you are not, don’t feel condemned at all. For those who think they are strong, remember Peter. He expressed his love for Jesus and vowed to stand, but when the challenge came, he not only denied Jesus, he swore he never knew the Lord. When he came to realise what had happened, he left the place sorrowful that he had denied his Master. But these things are written that we might learn from them. That is why Jesus in Matthew 6:16 in the popular sermon on the mount said “When we ye fast …” not “if ye fast …” because fasting is not a fad that goes and comes with the times. It is a part of the Christian race and lifestyle. Child of God, I challenge you to watch and pray. If you think you have arrived, learn from the words of Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall’. If you are there feeling weak and vulnerable, the place to build your strength is in the place of prayer and fasting. Fasting is not “Old School”. It is not “Old Testament”; it is for us today. Take time out to wait on God in fasting and prayer and watch God do the miraculous in your life. God still answer prayer and fasting upon his Word and not human feelings and desire. Learn to stay in the Word at all times and you will be a commander in your world and troubles in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Tomorrow is our Global Prophetic Call.
