Dear Cedarwood Community, It is with profound sadness that I inform you that Karri Thomas, a former CWS parent and wife of former faculty member Corbin Meyers, suffered fatal injuries in a car accident on Friday. Karris two daughters were in the car with her but were not injured. As many of you know, Corbin was the original woodworking teacher at Cedarwood and he hand crafted the beautiful wooden sign that hangs in the front of our building. His father Tom is the woodworking teacher at the Portland Waldorf School. For those who remember Karri, we are all feeling this loss deeply and are holding the Myers and Thomas families in our hearts during this difficult time.
