Dear Christians, When you become a Christian, things dont magically get easier and your problems dont go away. Becoming a Christian was actually the hardest thing I ever did. Giving up the things I wanted to do and trying to live by Christs example was not something I wanted to do. I wanted to continue sinning, I wanted to live the party life, I wanted to be a normal teenager. But God had bigger plans. He held me to a higher calling and knew that those distractions would keep me from reaching my real potential. There was heartache, there was pain, and there were times (and there still are) where I want to put Christ aside and just do what I want to do. But wheres the reward in that? What will it gain me? Nothing. So, my problems didnt go away. The temptations are still there, even stronger than before. The only difference is Im better equipped. So yes, becoming a Christian was the hardest choice of my life. But it was also the best one.
