Dear Church, my brothers and sisters: The kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, is at hand, it is near, it is within you, and in your midst. It isnt just when you sit in the pew or go to the altar in the building you meet in on Sundays, or maybe on Wednesdays too. It isnt something that you will have to pray for God to bring. It isnt an awakening that He has yet to bring. It isnt a coming revival, because if you are needing revival, I tell you, all you need to do is repent and return to your first love. It is wherever you go. God is with you wherever you go, by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of the Father. He is with you when you are at that bus stop. He is with you as you walk through the isles of that grocery store. He is with you as you pick up your coffee at that coffee shop. He is with you when you are in the drive thru ordering your favorite fast food snack. He is with you as you are laboring at work. He is with you as you pick up your daughter from daycare. He is with you when you head out for some exercise. He is with you as you walk from your car to your home. He is with you even when you go to that public washroom. You know, in all those places, you may encounter someone who is in need of hearing the truth, someone who may need an encouraging word, someone who might need a hug, someone who may need their ailment healed, or a tormenting spirit driven out of their lives, maybe even someone who needs to be told where their sinful lives will lead them for an eternity should they never repent and believe in the only One who can forgive and save them. God has given you the message of hope. God has made you a light in darkness. He has made you salt to season and preserve a people for Him. Dont keep your mouth shut and do nothing when you see that opportunity. I know it can be hard, but He is called the comforter for a reason. As you step out to love on someone, He will be there with the grace you need for that situation. He will use you. He wants to us you to reach them, His lost children. Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, See here! or See there! For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20-21 The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. Mark 1:15 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them John 17:22 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16
