Dear Community Members Across The Globe, Namaskaar! LIFE IS A SCHOOL. THOSE WHO LEARN TO LOVE AND HELP OTHERS, GRADUATE WITH HONORS. KMECT reports enrollment of case no 0314 of our young community son 25 year old Rahul Dhar. This is heart rendering to inform that on 10th September, 2014, Rahul Ji of Rohini, Delhi while driving motorcycle met an fatal accident in the late night hours at around 10.00 pm somewhere near Begumpur road, Delhi. This is hit and run case. Rahul had serious head injury and in a very critical condition was admitted in Jaipur Golden Hospital, Rohini where after brief treatment doctors declared he wont survive. After two days of turmoil and pain, family shifted Rahul to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Due to multiple clots in brain doctors took a considered decision to immediately perform the open brain surgery as that was the only option left putting an effort to save his life. With skull cal removed open brain surgery was performed and since then he in a critical condition is in ICU no 24 of Ganga ram Hospital. Family on their own has so far spent more than Rs. 6.00 Lacs and as narrated by Rahuls mother had sold some of her gold jewellery as well and till yesterday could manage the treatment of her son. Kindly note this is a hit and run case with no clue, family will not even get the compensation under motor tribunal act. Late night day before on 19th night KMECT received calls from various quarters and on social media came to know about this tragic case. We at KMECT immediately comprehend the seriousness of case and being an emergency and priority to save precious young life, without even enrolling BoT approved immediate relief of Rs. 1.00 Lacs. Yesterday late evening I myself visited the family in Hospital to ascertain the ground situation and met both mother and brother of Rahul ji. Handed over the cheque for Rs. 1.00 Lacs to them and assured all possible help. Rahul Jis skull is open and the skull cap has been embedded and preserved in his stomach. He is an a very critical condition but doctors attending are of the opinion that he is responding well to the treatment given so far. Dear brothers and sisters, once again this is the testing time for KMECT, philanthropist and our regular contributors to pool in our resources what ever big or small and contribute to save this life. On preliminary assessment it seems that this case may need more than Rs. 5.00 Lacs to Rs 8.00 Lacs depending upon the response to treatment and recovery. Family having exhausted all life time savings and liquidating the assets, imagine the compulsion that made them to spread the hand for help as we all know we as a community will prefer to sleep empty stomach rather stretching the hand for help. Kindly come forward and save this young life and only earning hand of family and leave rest to first God and then to KMECT as we are pledged to provide succor to all deserving cases facing such medical emergency. As usual I close this information and appeal with following two lines: TODAY IS SOMEONE ELSE, TOMORROW CAN BE ME & THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME & PATIENCE. Warm Regards, Er.
