Dear Community Members: On behalf of the “Chand Raat Minabazar and Eid Fashion Show Team of 2013”, we would like to extend our profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all members of the Bangladeshi community for their support and attendance to make the first ever Bangladeshi Chand Raat mela in the Washington metro area a blockbuster of success. This Chand Raat mela was held on Wednesday, 7 August 2013 at the Earnst Cultural Community Center of Northern Virginia Community College (Annandale campus). A total of over 1800 people attended that night’s mela where 25 vendors displayed the finest of eid jewelry, clothing and accessories. We would like to sincerely and deeply apologize for the untimely service of food by the food vendor. The minabazar team has assessed the situation and in the future will make sure that such unwanted incident does not occur again. Please accept our apologies. We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Zakir Hussain Chief Executive of DataGroup, Inc. for being the grand sponsor of this pre eid night extravaganza. Mr. Hussain your support means a lot to us.
