Dear Cturtlers, As some of you may know over the past 1.5 years the Board of Directors (BoD) of the International Sea Turtle Society has been working on revising/updating the Societys Bylaws and Constitution. This has been quite an effort and I am pleased to announce that we now have a product for your review. Although several people were involved in this project, the BoD would like to recognize Dr. Jack Frazier for his extraordinary contributions and leadership. The revised documents can be found at the following link: seaturtlesociety.org/ists/. If you are an ISTSociety member I ask you to please download and read both documents. Further, I ask you to please provide comments to Manjula Tiwari ([email protected]), BoD Secretary, by 1 December 2013. Your comments will be compiled and posted for everyone to review. The two final revised documents will then be voted at the plenary meeting at the April 2014 New Orleans meeting. Thank you for supporting the ISTSociety. Clarification: if you attended the meeting in Baltimore, you are a member of the Society unless you requested not to be. If you are currently not a member, you will have a chance to become one when the registration for the New Orleans meeting opens on 15 October.
