Dear Dancing Friends, Sooo... heres the BIG news... December 27th is my virgin voyage facilitating Saturday Dance -- Rites of Belonging, at the Masonic Lodge. (Gotta say that its great to be 52 years old, and using the word virgin to describe anything relating to me... which just goes to show that you are never to old to start something new.) I would love to have you there, and to share this new beginning together! This morning, I was writing and reflecting about this past year -- all of the changes that have happened, and feeling so grateful to be have been part of this dance community for the past 18 years. This community has been a safe haven, helping me to navigate through many life challenges and passages. And as well, a place where I have connected to my essential truth, passion, creative flow, and to so many dear friends. The dance space is sacred to me. How I show up for myself, how you show up for yourself, and how we show up for eachother; this is what creates the field of permission for us all to step into. We create this magic together -- an alchemy of you, me, we/ us -- the music, the moment-- a strong, yet delicate web. I have always felt a sense of responsibility for keeping it safe, sacred, alive (and keeping it real). I feel deeply honored to have been chosen by Michael and Anneli to hold the space for our community. AND...It is a significant threshold for me to step over and into.
