Dear Digicel As you strive to be the bigger better network, you are increasingly becoming the biggest thorn in the side. I am now forced to buy a LIME SIM card because you have come up with another hogwash DATA SERVICE plan called STARTER PLAN. Since LIME is looking out for the poorer class and giving you some WELL DESERVED competition, I decided to switch. I am a postpaid customer, and before common sense struck, I was FORCED to use your expensive 30 day plans because POSTPAID CUSTOMERS, in your mind set, are rich people. Well nice to meet you, I’m Miss Poorer Thanmost. Somehow, data runs out faster on a postpaid SIM so I had to buy prepaid SIM and I saw a world of difference. Sometimes when it’s near the expiry date, I have to watch a ton load of videos just to use it up, which I don’t mind, as long as you are not getting it back and I was happy until now. As usual you know how to come up with more ways to give us less for more money. I am a regular user of the 2 day 500MB 4G plan for just $100.00, since my new SIM card, and now I am downgraded to a 200MB plan for $120.00. Now Digicel, who do you think you are fooling with 200MB and telling us about roll over? It was better if you had put on the extra $20.00 and leave the 500MB alone because by the time we watch 3 YouTube videos that’s the 200MB right there! What is left for you to roll over? AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF!!! When 1000mb (ALMOST 1gb) would cost ONLY $200.00 now cost $1300 and that’s just for 7 days? Digicel are you slowly losing your minds? A so the competition stiff you a price yourself outta common sense?????? *regains composure* Why are you trying to sieve our pockets until nothing is left? Did you and JPSco meet up the other day at tea, and plan this? The majority of Jamaicans are using ANDROID phones which you must know by now, and these smartphones use a lot of data service to power the apps. These so-called ‘starter plans’ were built for blackberry phones and I haven’t seen a working one in over a year so it’s not as if we are able to switch. Digicel it’s a terrible way to start the season, an epic fail like calling elections after Christmas. Please Digicel, go back to the drawing board and revamp your sales pitch because this one not catching on at all. I would have called you customer care and voice my complaint but it has become so modernized, you have ore menus and automated voices than Burger King, you need to fix that too, unless you are hiding from all the complaining why you have us pressing up to 5 buttons to get to one person.
