***Dear Educated and Intelligent (?) Class: Who is paying the price for our Cynicism and Hypocrisy?*** We are cynical whenever we are approached to support selfless efforts. We are cynical not because we know everything, but to cover up the fact that we donot know anything. We always try to be ignorant believing ignorance is a bliss. We neither participate nor encourage and always happy to be a bystander - with a feel of satisfaction on the decision that we have taken to be a bystander and attributing it to the intelligence that we earned (?) with our education. Santosh Koli - Seemapuri (Delhi) AAP MLA contestant - A 10th class, 28 year old woman in Sundar Nagari basti - Can anyone of us ever do what she has done for those basti people. Are we brave enough to fight with goons and politicians for the food for these people? Are we brave enough to continue the fight after each murder attempt on you. Yet another attempt on her - Today: she is admitted into hospital and her condition is critical. She received threatening calls from local politicians and is then met with a (mysterious) accident (to suit typical political-police cover up). It was not only the goons and politicians that might be behind this incidence. But, it is the people like you and me are responsible, who left her alone to clean up this dangerous system that we are living and suffering. She took the initiation believing that you and me will join, but today, she has paid price for our absence/negligence. Here is her interview on IBN (2 weeks back) in honoring her efforts in implementing RTI to empower local residents and fight against PDS (govt ration) scams. This is not the first time that she was attacked for helping the needy.
