Dear Everybody, First, I would like to express my special thanks for your warm messages for Mr. Romulo Presto (Mulong), which has encouraged him and his family a lot. The situation of Mulong has been stable since yesterday. His fever and heartbeat are now normal level. Although his while body is still swollen and antibiotics treatment is still required, I am confident that the issue of infection is no longer critical. However, it is also true that Mulong is in a hard lot. Lots of tubes are still connected with his body. For his respiration, one tube is connected with his nose and the other is connected with his windpipe / lung though his mouth (Therefore, he cannot speak at all.). For nutrition / water supply and antibiotics treatment (plus anodyne treatment), 2 tubes are connected with his right arm, 3 tubes are connected with his left arm and 1 tube is connected with his right neck (carotid). In addition, another tube is connected with his excretory organ as he cannot go to toilet Please imagine how hard the situation is, since such the situation has been continued since last Sunday (the date of his surgery). In fact, he sometimes tries to move his legs, as he cannot turn from side to side in bed. Now, the concern of his family as well as myself is shifted to the next step (after the issue of infection). As explained by the doctor, some cysts / tumors were observed in his intestine / colon during his surgery last Sunday, which shall be investigated further through biopsy first. I sincerely hope that those can be cured by any medical treatments. Anyway, he is still fighting against his illness. Again, I would highly appreciate it if you could kindly keep on praying for him. 多くの方々から Mr. Romulo Presto への激励のメッセージをいただき、本当にありがとうございます。彼も彼の家族も、非常に勇気づけられました。 彼の状況は昨日以降安定しており、熱も心拍数も正常値です。まだ、全身のむくみはそのままで、抗生物質投与も継続せねばなりませんが、感染症問題は解消したと考えて良いと思います。 ただし、彼の身体は多くのパイプが繋がれた状態です。呼吸用のパイプが鼻と口に（口のパイプは気管を通って肺に直結）、栄養補給と抗生物質投与のパイプが両腕と頸動脈に接続、その他、排尿管も取り付けられており、非常に痛々しい姿です。手術後１週間このような状態であり、寝返りも打てないので、足を動かして体制を変えようとしています。本当に辛そうです。 もはや腹膜炎による感染問題は解消しつつありますので、家族と私の関心事は、次の段階の医療措置に移行しています。先日日曜日の手術の際、腸に腫瘍が散見されました。腹膜炎の治療を先行させたので、これら腫瘍はそのままになっています。まず、生体組織検査で腫瘍の詳細を調べる必要があるとのことです。 彼は懸命に病気と闘っております。繰り返しのお願いとなりますが、引き続き、彼の回復をお祈りいただきますよう、お願い申し上げます。
