Dear Ex, I know I fell short. I failed at loving you even a percentage of what you deserve. I failed at showing you that the player mentality I exude is only a reflection of my internal damage and overall inexperience with Being loved. I use to preach that a person can learn all they need to know by running through the motions until they get it. In boxing, you start at a slow pace "stick/move" and before you know it, you feel like Ali. The speed increases with practice, you feel the motion of your opponent/ trainer before they even move. Well, that theory has changed. I regret that is has at the discretion of your heart but I pray that u find forgiveness within your healing as I seek forgiveness within my own. I searched for a love that is impossible for a "lover" to give for sooo many years. I held my "lover" responsible for a "mothers/fathers" responsibilities in return for empty love making only saw as a tool I was programmed to believe was equivalent.... (Let It Marinate) Today I had a revelation. The solution has yet to hit me but the healing process is in the works. Relationship after another hoping to avoid the silence in the dark room in which my heart/reality resides, is no more. "I Wanna Be Better Lord".
