Dear FB Friends, Debbie has been home now for a week. She still has pain from time to time, and in addition to her back, right shoulder, and arm, it has now moved into her chest--possibly the tumors in her lungs. The hospice people have been great--supportive, helpful, understanding, kind. I am getting used to doing the bulk of the care duties--but have also been able to prepare for Sunday a week in advance, and--thanks to some friendly volunteers--have been able to get out and care for errands. I sleep on the couch by Debbies bed at night, and administering needed pain meds seems to coordinate with my needed nightly bathroom trips. ☺️ When I am awake at night and various times through the day, I naturally fall into prayer. After just a week, we are developing a routine. Even though I am often alone here, with Debbie sleeping, I sense your prayers and support through these days. Thank you all!
