Dear FB family, extended family, and friends, On Wednesday May 21st @ 10:06 am I lost the FIRST man who stole my heart away wen I was just a baby girl!!! The second being my hubby of course, and he had a lot of measuring up to do......lol!!! You see...I was one of the luckiest girls in the world! When my bio dad left the picture at age 2 we moved in with my grandparents, Mimi & Big dad! (My gpa Big Dad was raised by his gma!) I had a parent and a Grandparent with him! It had the benefits of being the baby girl & the oldest granddaughter! We had a special bond that I will cherish forever! He lived a hard life, he was a marine that joined at 16 (yes he did tell a white lie) and he fought 3 wars and survived! He was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease over 8 years ago, and was a fighter till the end!!! I love you so much Big Dad! Thank you for taking Aden, and I in and raising us as your own children and being the father that we did not have in our lives. It must have been hard at times, I can only Imagine! You told me that the reason that you raised us is because your gma Marcelina raised you & that Is what family does. Well I get it now! If I am ever to be put in your shoes, I would do the same in a heartbeat!!! No questions asked!!! I will always love you, and you will always hold a special place in my heart that words cannot even begin to describe! I pray you are in Heaven at rest and out of pain in Gods loving arms with Mimi, Rita, Ollie, and Gma Marcelina! Till we meet again at heavens gates!!! John Cerda Trevino 11-25-25 to 05-21-14. Thank you to all those special people who helped take care of him over the years our family loves & appreciates all you did......Aunt Diane, Jennifer Willard Gomez, Christopher, Katherine ,Eileen, Justin, Lluvia Antuna-Alvarez, and Aaron!
