Dear Family/Friends! Spent the day around North Woodstock and Lincoln. Enjoyed the slow long downhill ride out of Russell Pond this morning. It was cooler and cloudy most of the day, but still some pretty views of the mountains. Tonight I am at Campton Campground. I have been here many times in the past. It seemed to be a favorite spot of mine and my first husband Walter. We came here with a couple...girlfriend of mine and her boyfriend at the time. We had fun playing in the water. the river across the way in tubes...think I have pictures somewhere?! I think that is called the Mad River over there. Very quiet except I can here the traffic on 49 that heads to Waterville Valley. Not many camped here...there were lots more out at Russell Pond. This campground has showers. too, where you put in $2.50 for about 5 minutes. Tomorrow morning I head over to LIHA (Laconia Indian Historical Association) pow wow at Dulac Land Trust in Sanbornton to vend for the weekend. I think this is the 44th Labor Day pow wow there. Its my 3rd year back. Actually I was gone for & years of not doing it as I spent those summers on the Oregon coast. Out there I vended at varriou places and took on the part of a pirates life! You can see that in some of my pictures. I love play acting and wished I could of been an actress in actual life! Something about the pretending that I love and being someone special other than yourself! :) Okay, enough said on that... I hope you are ALL having a great evening what is left of it! Hugs, Marion
