Dear Family and Friends, Yesterday marked the 15th anniversary of my husbands liver transplant. We were so blessed that someone was generous enough to share the gift of life! Although he had a transplant, his lymphatic system still carried the virus. Since that time, his body has been cleared of the disease that sickened him in the first place. We owe a lot to the American Liver Foundation (ALF), a non-profit that is a huge contributor to scientific research for liver disease and public awareness. So many of us know someone with liver disease! You can support the cause by donating to ALF or by joining the Liver Life Walk at Rentschler Field in East Hartford on September 21st. This is an exciting event, fun for people and pets of all ages! Thank you!
