Dear Fellows, neighbors, Ridgewood Nepalese Society and its stakeholders, it is sad that yesterday one prospective youth Mr. Mohan Oli (currently residing in Ridgewood, originally from Daang, Nepal) has decided to dissolve himself by throwing from his apartments window. It was revealed that he has been suffering from chronic depression and taking medicine. After his demise, Ridgewood society rapidly collecting money and urging different organizations, business institution to help his funereal process. More than $ 3,000 has been collected so far and adding more. But such a practice is really productive to address such issues, is RNS ( Ridgewood Nepalese Society) fulfilling his responsibility to prevent such a tragic moments in future? I want to ask entire Nepalese welfare organization including NRN (USA) whether you leaders are feeling some short of responsibility towards to tackle this unintended circumstance? The victim has been long miserable, he already tried to finish himself but fortunately survived, has admitted at hospital, no body gone there to visit him, assured him about the positive side of life, no job, no money, heavy debt….finally he determined to dismiss himself.. he gone but queries are remaining and he left numbers of concern about the existence of so called society and organization. Whether they are existing over here for just collect a money for funeral or collection US Dollar to build Temple, organizing mass meeting to fulfill their vested interests ( they want to play political role when they will 65 and over and time to retired and settled down to Nepal). SO SAD but VERY SERIOUS..EVERY BODY SHOULD PAY ATTENTION !
